Support

Questions, a data problem, or a source we should add? We're happy to help.

Contact us

Email support@myinfinivue.com

We usually reply within two business days. Helpful details: whether you use the iPhone app or the website, the app version (Profile tab, at the bottom), the place or notice involved, and a screenshot if possible.

OutbreakWatch can't help in a medical emergency. Call 911 in the U.S. or your local emergency number. For personal medical questions, contact a healthcare professional.

Common questions

Is the data real-time?
No. CDC, WHO and other agencies publish on their own schedules, usually weekly. Every number shows its source and the period it covers.
Why does my area say “not enough data” or appear gray?
There isn't enough recent official data to describe activity there. It never means there is no disease.
Why does my county show a statewide level?
CDC publishes severity levels for states, and emergency-visit trends for local Health Service Areas (often several counties). OutbreakWatch labels which area each number covers.
I'm not getting alerts.
In the app, open Profile and make sure “Alerts for my places & trips” is on, then check iPhone Settings › Notifications › OutbreakWatch. iOS decides when background checks run, so alerts can arrive hours after a notice is published.
“Use my current location” doesn't work.
Allow location access in iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › OutbreakWatch (“While Using the App”), or search for your area instead.
A shared link opens in Safari instead of the app.
Make sure the latest version of the app is installed, then tap the link again. If it still opens Safari, long-press the link and choose “Open in OutbreakWatch”.
How do I delete my data?
Your saved places, trips and settings are stored only on your device. Remove them in the app, or delete the app. On the website, clear this site's data in your browser. See the Privacy Policy.
Is this medical advice?
No. OutbreakWatch shares official public-health information for education. See the Health Information Disclaimer and the Terms of Use.

Report a data problem

If a number, notice or label looks wrong, email us with the place, the disease and what you expected to see. We compare it with the original official source and correct our presentation if needed. We can't change official data itself; for that, the publishing agency is the right contact.
