The OutbreakWatch app for iPhone and Android
The app (iPhone and Android) has the same official data, plus a native map, background alerts for saved places and trips, and an offline copy of the last data.
The iPhone app is being published on the App Store, and the Android app on Google Play. Both have the same features and data.
- Home: what's spreading near you, with a What should I do? button.
- Map: the global heat map with U.S. states and counties, history playback and place summaries.
- Travel: health reports for destinations, with a one-tap Save trip & turn on alerts.
- Alerts: official reports and notices, filterable by disease.
- Profile: alerts switch, saved places, methodology, sources and privacy.
If you lose your connection, the app keeps showing the last data it downloaded, labeled with how old it is.
